The celebration concert for December 2011 was based upon the story of The Wizard of Oz.

Staff and children all rehearsed hard across the autumn to deliver a brace of brilliant performances on Friday 2nd December 2011.

On Wednesday 31st of August we were joined by six willing volunteers from Virgin Media who came to support us in our work of maintaining our environment and in improving and providing additional opportunities for our children in the school grounds. We decided to tackle our bulrush pond adjacent to the swimming pool, our aim being that this area could soon form a part of the nature trail we are developing at the bottom of the site along with our Environment team. Supported by Micky and Jamie, the volunteers soon got stuck in, converting this:

To mark the end of summer the whole school turned out for an End of Summer BBQ.

Each team was responsible for a part of the BBQ, and staff and children went out to purchases the various elements.

We had delicious burgers and suasages, vegetable kebabs, salads, cocktails (non-alcoholic!) and ice cream (of course!)

We were blessed with a beautiful summers evening, warm and sunny, and it was great to see everyone chilling out, enjoying the food and each others company.

Hampshire County Council are carrying out major roadworks on our stretch of the A33 towards the end of September and into October.
Most of the work will be done at night time during the week, but there will be road closures at the weekend. Diversions will be in place, and there will be "watchmen" at either end of the closed section.

Emergency vehicles will not be affected.
